RDA with mobile data terminals (MDT)
|

Maximum efficiency by mobile data entry directly on the spot where the data is: read medical health cards (if available), directly feed additional data, automatic plausibility control, transfer to the clearinghouse, ready.

The data entry on the mobile data terminal (briefly MDT) should enable the editor to feed all information for a record immediately, fast and correctly. Thus he can put on a new record if available read in a smart card, record voice mails and give other application details. Thereby he can reduce the administrative effort to few minutes. If he completes all information which are necessary for a service, according to the client, he does not necessarily need a further treatment on the data collection pc but has already performed his share.
Here are the main arguments for a mobile data terminals directly on the road:
- Read in health insurance card
- Correct data by direct entry
- Control of the data by reasonable plausibilities
- Faster and perfect transport of the data to the clearinghouse
- None or very few collection work in the clearinghouse
- Basic data / returning inputs (driver, vehicle, radio phone number, RTW, KTW, NEF) can be deposited as a profile.
- Similar records, collective transports or MANF can be copied
Optional the following functions are possible:
- Alarm directly from the directing center on the rescue car / ambulance
- Live transference via radio (BOS, GPRS, UMTS...) directly back to the control center or the clearinghouse (e.g., for Affiliated information etc.)
- Advance notice to the destination hospital
- Defining of a personal service n (e.g., inserting smart card of Mrs. Müller: Normal service, dialysis journey there, dialysis journey back) to a further saving of collection time
Thus the mobile data entry dramaticalley outmatches the non-electronic data entry.
